About the club

The purpose of the Adirondack Bluefins Swim Club is to provide a quality competitive swim program for motivated young people. We believe that swimming is the most outstanding activity a young person can be a part of through the years. Through swimming, we will promote fitness and teach an athlete to strive for physical perfection beyond what would be possible in other sports. Swimming is an exciting individual and team sport (as well as specialized activity) without the dangers of injury that are present in most other youth sports.

  • Learn teamwork, spirit, and pride, and;
  • Learn commitment.

  • Improving the young athletes listening and communication skills;
  • Improving the childs math and reasoning skills;
  • Instilling a sense of “rules are to follow and are for everyone;”
  • Instilling a personal pride in accomplishment rather than rewards for success;
  • Placing a priority on teaching lifestyle skills such as time management, politeness when conversing, self-esteem and confidence, body language, responsibility and respect.
