Club Handbook
Dear Swimmers and Parents:
Congratulations on joining the Adirondack Bluefin Swim Club (BFIN), one of the top swim clubs in New York State and the entire Northeast!
The purpose of this handbook is to familiarize you with the operations and procedures of the BFIN. We know that when you join a new organization, you want to know how things work, where to get information, and how to get involved. By providing new families and familiar faces with this information, we hope that it will enhance your enjoyment of our competitive swimming program.
As a competitive swim club, we will be participating in swim meets throughout the year. You will find that there are meets that match the ability of all levels of swimmers. These can be an enjoyable and valuable learning experience for both you and your children.
We are a professionally managed, not-for-profit organization that relies on voluntary participation by parents to help in various projects throughout the year. We depend on the support and commitment of our swimmers parents. We encourage you to get involved to demonstrate both your interest in your child’s swimming and to enhance your experience at BFIN.
I am pleased to welcome you to our club.
Sincerely,
Jeff Maxwell
Head Coach
