Thursday June 25 is the last day at Shaker for the Spring Session.
No practice Friday the 26th or Saturday the 27th.
Summer session begins on Monday June 29 at the Colonie Town Park.
Schedule is as follows:
Monday-Friday:
6:30-8:30 AM Groups 4 & 5
7:30-8:30 AM Group 3
6:30-7:30 AM or 7:30-8:30 AM Masters
Monday & Wednesday:
8:00-9:30 PM All Groups.

All dues must be paid in full by the start of practice. Bluefins has implemented a new policy Effective this session. Any swimmer that is not paid by the end of the starting week will pay a $25.00 late fee per swimmer.
Margaret will be at RPI on Monday April 20th for anyone that would like to pay in person. As her daughter is in track season, Margarets presence at the pool will be very limited. Do not give paperwork to the coaches as Margaret will not be seeing them. It is strongly suggested that you mail your paperwork: (make checks payable to Adirondack Bluefins)

Kelvin Completes English Channel Swim!

Dear Kelvin’s friends
This is a note to let you know that our son Kelvin has successfully swum the English Channel. Whilst 21 miles of swimming may be accomplished by many, Kelvin did it with waves covering his head, 60 degree water, strong waves and currents that took him off course by 8 miles, and feeding whilst treading water, he did it in 12.5 hours. A 10% success rate and only 800 success stories in 120 years also tells the story. I was on the boat taking videos. Larry, his Connecticut coach, and Jeff, his Albany swimming coach, were also on the boat with the crew. I also coordinated his cousins to meet him on the beach near Calais, far from the expected location. The day was very emotional and Jen and I cannot believe what he has done at his first attempt. It took him 4 years to prepare physically and mentally for this challenge. Now he wants to rest.
